Simple excision
This method is typically used for removal of small skin lesions. After marking the pertained area with a pen, a spindel is excised with a scalpel. The edges of the spindel should not exceed an angle of 30° to allow easy closure.
Also, one should align the excision parallel to the skin tension lines to allow for a tension free and cosmetically favorable adaptation of the wound edges.
